Acrylic Starter Studio 2 Day Workshop

Ready to dive into the vibrant world of acrylics? Great—because this workshop is all about exploring, playing, and discovering what you can do with acrylic paint & mediums. Whether you’re totally new to acrylics or dusting off some long-lost art skills, you’re in the right place.

We’ll chat about the essentials—how to handle your paint. mix colors, push values, and talk through the elements of art— color, value, and texture—in a way that actually makes sense while you’re painting.

You’ll create several pieces, bouncing between landscape and floral subjects so you can try out different approaches.

Think of this class as a guided adventure: a bit of instruction, a lot of hands-on doing, and plenty of room to play, experiment, and ask questions. By the end, you’ll feel more confident, more observant, and—most importantly—excited to keep painting.

Class Fee includes some canvas & paper surfaces as well as paints and brushes for your use - but feel free to bring your own. (A supply list will be sent upon registration completion.)
